There's the company spirit. That's the kind of response we like to hear. I'll look past your unfortunate slip up here, but don't let it happen again.
It has been taken care of.
Please re-read the company-wide memo from last week. Utopitech stations will not be making any mention of certain current events, and ask that you not mention them even in private correspondence using company communication tools. Your post here included a forbidden word. Conversations along these lines will not be tolerated.
The retraction will be deleted, but we were just letting everyone know that the guy who found the cache was super into the whole thing. I'm not sure why the geo cache was a news story in the first place? It's not exactly a slow news month. People want more details about the local response to the pandemic.
No! No retraction of the retraction. We don't want you to use the word retraction anywhere on the site or on the air. Just delete the retraction. News media is under constant scrutiny, and the only way to rise above it is to instill absolute confidence. Words like retraction spread seeds of doubt, and doubt seeds grow into doubt weeds that choke out our position in the world.
Just saw this. I'll let the news team know that we need to retract the retraction.
We saw a retraction posted on the news page today. As a Utopitech station, we specifically forbid you from posting retractions of any kind.
I for one am relieved they took such decisive pre-emptive action. Some of us are old enough to take this virus seriously! And, I don't know what you two are complaining about...you got a trip to Boston on the company dime and then 10 days off work. Sorry you were a little bored in Utopitech mandated isolation, mean while I'm keeping the station running round the clock with no competent help. I could use a little R&R maybe I'll have to practice a little "social proximity" and see if I can't get myself 10 days of leave.
Oh yeah, that was a dystopian nightmare. I think my mom has a friend who is an attorney, I may call him up and ask him about my options.
Anyone want to compare stories of our treatment under mandated isolation post PAX? I have some concerns. Frankly, I feel a little violated, but Utopitech says it is standard policy?
Hey, I'm going to private message you. We aren't breaking up, especially not on a public chat server the whole station has access to, let me remind you of the good times, okay? Let's talk about this.
Relax?!? Really? We are so not "good."
Alice, relax. You're reading too much into it. I'd say that news story was more like creative non-fiction, the general facts are true but it has all been a little amplified for the entertainment of the reader. We're good.
Rick! You aren't answering your phone. I can't believe you! That news article was ridiculous. No one was asking you to make a big fuss over Valentine's Day you know! You think I don't know what to expect of you? I wasn't expecting anything from you, not a card, not a flower, just your same loser excuses about never having any money because the radio station pays us in bread crumbs. You're the one who chose to buy a sign for me...and if you didn't want to do it, you shouldn't have done it. You're a grown man. Shame on you for airing your insecurities about our relationship in public. How about I make things real simple for you and let you off the hook? No more grand romantic gestures, required, we're through!
Just get it done. This station is bleeding money. We need to have some sort of revenue stream coming in. Offer Pinata Pete's a deal.
We've been working on the ads. However, it's a little hard to sell ads since half the businesses in this town are owned by Utopitech, and the other half aren't real fond of Utopitech's attempts to buy them out. I assume you don't want to pay to advertise your own companies with your other companies? What's the endgame?
Where are the ads?
